Rihanna is once again breaking rules in her latest fashion spread for Paper Magazine – rocking a rainbow of hood chic hairstyles paired with an avante garde selection of high fashion pieces and oversized accessories. But, let’s face it, the bad gal knows how to make wrong look oh so right!
Besides the fact that I seriously need the overly embellished 5:31 Jérôme denim jacket in my life(and this one, too), I am really loving how Black girl rich these looks are.
Celeb hairstylist Yusef straight took lavender purple kanekalon braiding hair right out of its jumbo pack and wrapped it around her pony, like “Blend what colors? Match what textures?”
And, yes, this is typically a no, no for fashion newbs or when you are trying to front like it’s yours. But, hey, this is a photo shoot and he’s like “fuck it, I’m going all the way in. #fightme”

I’m also loving these mermaid green waves. Although my forehead isn’t quite built for straight bangs, these piece-y eyebrow grazers might just inspire me to figure out my own beachy version.
