Full disclosure: Caine Casket is family, my brother to be exact. But, trust, I hold no biases when it comes to music. Either I can feel it, or I can’t. And I have been silent on many a family members’ sounds.
Thankfully, I don’t have to be quiet on this one. Caine elevates us to cloud status with his lyrical prowess and soothing vocals on this atmospheric tune. The sound is like a cross between ‘avant garde hip-hop and trap soul’ with consciousness. Not groundbreaking, but definitely refreshing and necessary in the current monotony that is called commercial music.
